I want to settle constance here that I sent a previous message before this
one, wich didn't seem to have been published. If this message gets published
before the other one, then I'll repost it. It was a reply to BB's reply's to
me, and his last mail.

I just wanted to take this single mail to show you all something:

Ok. If the factor for synchronization or compatibility is as you say a
"mother and child bond", then please stick to those words. When I read
"mother and child bond" I think about two parts: A mother and a child. So
when I read you say "there isn't a direct mother/child bond between her
(Rei) and Yui", I simply can't understand. Because if its about a mother and
child bond, then this doesn't hold. I mean, Rei is not Yui's child, speaking
of a direct or not mother and child bond is as I see inconsistent, because
simply Rei isn't Yui's child.

Seeing this some time ago was what made me think about the flesh stuff. Why
would Rei have an 'indirect' mother and child bond with Yui, if Rei is not
Yui's child? What is the only common thing we positively know of about them
both? The body, as Rei's body was made from Yui's remains. We could also say
the same from both Shinji and Asuka and their respective mothers, they all
were made from their mothers bodies.

Now I see I cannot discard the mother and child bond spoken of in the A^10
nerve description. But the 'flesh' factor, as I call it, seems to complement
it, to be more or less like a base for that. Because if its all about mother
and child bonds, then it doesn't work with Rei, there has to be something
*more*, and that's where the body part comes in.

So, probably synching has these 3 factors:

1) Pilots body and ex-soul's body compatibility
2) Mother and Child Bond
3) Eva's will.

And as a sidenote: Those who discard the flesh factor only for the
exceptions (wich I treated on the yet unpublished mail) also discard the
mother-child bond thing. I mean, what bond of that kind might exist between
Shinji and Kyouko, or Touji, Kensuke and Yui?
