My theory fits the facts of the show, answers a lot of unanswered questions,
and ties up many lose ends. It's based upon the idea that Rei-001's soul is
in Eva-00, which is made possible based upon the assumption of soul
multiplicity. This is a common way in science of producing theories; you look
at all the conditions which you don't have answers for then develop a
hypothesis (assumption) and see if it holds under those conditions and
solves your problem. If it does then it becomes a credible, widely used
theory.----> ****It's still a theory, not a law, because it cannot be
proven****<------, but it can become accepted in the scientific community.
It's curious how almost anyone can dissect other people's theories
unmercifully without doing the same with their own ideas. The soul
patterning idea solves the same problems as the soul multiplicity theory
(although personally, I favor patterning). The fact is that neither of this
theories can directly identify the contents of the Eva-00's core. Face it,
the identity of the soul in Eva-00 is a LOOSE END.
...By the way when a unproven theory becomes 'accepted' in the scientific
community it's just a practical indulgence. It only serves as a guidance for
where to start looking. Sadly, Eva-verse isn't so empirically open. :-)
