I think Greenfield is justfied with his statement, and also the point
that the movies were produced since it was feasible on economic terms,
but i disagree with the point of view that it's either, THE movies, or
THE last episodes, to me, if Anno had more tiem and money under his
belt on the production of both last epsiodes and subsequent, he would
have summed up the both of them and merged them together, this is what
greenfield should be looking at, if he knew anything about the moaning
going on about the "Conclusion" to the serries, he would pay a lot
more attention in regards to story, and have Anno and possib;y
Sadamoto on board to design a story where by both last episodes and
movies are rolled into one.
It's my belief that the Eva series is a look at how humans act in the
world, how we behave in our environment, if he wants to sum this up,
you want to show the massive fighting sequences of the movies, but
also the whole perpectives issues that are expanded on in the
episodes, its all entirly possible, and to sum up, Greenfield needs to
get some brians to him, other wise it is going to be a blockbuster
which does not make sense, and only rehashes the last episodes, but in
real life, and to me, that would be boring, i under stood it the first
time, i don't need some American specifically tailoring japanese
speculative fiction so that i can understand it.
