Oh, & of course the Shinji-Kaworo relationship seems to be almost
opposite to Eva anime, which was really pally.

What will be interesting is the effect of how/if Shinji kills Kaworo.
In the anime it was Kaworo's betrayal of their friendship that spurred
him to kill Kaworo as quickly as he did. But no such feelings are
likely in the manga (wiuthin reason)

So will Kaworo do something to enrage Shinji, or will Shinji kill him
as an angel more matter-of-factly. Or remember the kitten...
