We don't know that yet, since the Seele chat ended just before Misato
and her binoculars appear in the DC version.

@@True I guess, except that I would have expected it this stage. Be
interesting to see if he includes it next time, & also if Misato &
Hyuga team up as in the anime.

Sadamoto has added dialog and tweaked it a bit.
And of course you are comparing my translation to ADV...

@@So..er..how do you rate the Platinum translation generally. Its
meant to be more accurate than Matt Greenfield's original (for the
subtitles) - and is in some places, though some of the original is
left as well.

Given that the manga is more or less following the anime with minor
differences, I do not expect anything different here.  And since
Kaworu has labeled humankind the "Lilim" I think we will be the 18th
Angel and Lilith the 2nd.

@@If Sadamoto goes does the EoE route more or less, I'm wondering how
(hopefully) Misato will explain it all to Shinji. In fact before that,
whether she will be shown hacking into the NERV computers (never knew
if it was then Magi or not she was linked to). Hopefully Sadamoto will
keep the same explanation as in EoE, and Viz, unlike Manga, will
translate it correctly.

Kaworo (ADV spelling!) is already referring to h/kind as "Lilim". So
he will presumably i.d. Lilith straight away then?

What I am sure he will do, is bring Asuka back into the story somehow.
What will happen with Ritsuko now?
Probably Sadamoto will adapt the other character fates from EoE, give
Shinji a potted complementation "outing" (he's already had one in Vol
7 or 8 IIRC ).
Yui & Gendou "meeting" will happen

What would be original, would be a different cause triggering Third
Impact. Perhaps Kaworo does it, either by accident or deliberately.
That would shorten a lot of the movie scenario, be different from TV
when Gendou initiated it with Rei (before SEELE's Evas arrived) etc.

The second part of EoE, without its arty presentation, boils down to
about 20 mins, less than a TV episode. Depends how many spreads
Sadamoto wants to do I guess. Whichever, bi-monthly will be painful
waiting.
