I did want to add: In case there was confusion, M, "Adam as female" and 
"Kaworu as female" are completely separate issues. The latter proposal 
crashed and burned, and is little more than a pet theory with a very large 
stigma attached. If you noticed, Kaworu is described as "he" in my CI 
translation.

The issue of Adam is considered far more open, at least in other pastures. 
That the idea of Adam as female is also one that was arrived at 
collaboratively, with the various advocates not necessarily supporting it 
for the same exact reasons as I, is another reason to leave any references 
to "feminism" and suchlike in the wastebasket.
