Sorry to hear that your position is one of such earnest severity. I have no 
qualms with *you*, to be perfectly honest. I imagine you're well-aware of 
your respected position within the fandom. You can't expect everyone to 
agree with all of your decisions, however, and they elicit more controversy 
when no explanation is provided for them (as I noted earlier). You say that 
you're "perfectly happy" to ignore "various slights", but I feel skeptical. 
And besides -- resolution is better.
