Also: In suggesting that I "drop it", and referencing "various slights", you 
are mutating the issue under discussion into a personal one. The gender/sex 
of SoLs (etc.) and translation concerns are *entirely* separate. Please 
leave the baggage on the side and stay within proper parameters.

(And I only mention such things because I want to avoid doing them, too.)
