  Seriously, WTF?
   
  The Maid/Mother/Crone is a important motif in Wicca, and in Wicca 
derived Neo-Pagan Ecclecticism, but it's not, as far as i've heard, a 
common religious feature.  While some unscrupulous (supposedly neo-pagan) 
authors, more concerned with profits that schholarship have claimed the 
MMC motif for the ancient Greek and Egyptian religions, both scholars 
and modern Hellenic and Kemetic Recons deny any such thing in their 
beliefs.  (Same goes for the Astruar)

  I wanted a reply to above reposted half of my prior comments.
   
  I really really hate it when people generalize Wiccan beliefs to other pagan trads.  It makes my pagan friends grumpy and offends my sense of history.
