In #02, Misato calls Pen^2 "kare", which means Pen^2 is either "he" -- or 
her boyfriend.

Carl's suggestion about "Sudsy Snacks" can work just as well with Pen^2 as 
with Misato, considering he is her thoroughly-corrupted roomie. She's hooked 
him to beer -- but he hasn't developed an appreciation for that instant 
curry yet...
