*sigh* Even if Sadamoto will take the Shinji/Rei route instead of
Shinji/Asuka (Which I'm a fan of as it seems the anime's purpose is to bring
them together)), I wish he wouldn't change their personalities so
drastically, doing that seems to mess up the story, too. For instance, I'm
guessing were NOT gonna get the scene of Misato kissing Shinji goodbye, or
the split coffee scene (though we'll probably still get the strangling
either in Pre-Instrumenality or maybe even also I Need You, if we get that
(which I doubt as there's nothing romantic between Shinji/Asuka in
Sadamoto's adaption.)) I wish there would be some combination of EoTV and
EoE, but oh well.

This chapter does seem to be a scene-by-scene account of EoE, hopefully the
next stage will end up having more of Sadamoto's own interepriation.
