Carl isn't the Evangelion Manga editor anymore. He consults on it, but is 
now an employee of Dark Horse Comics, working as a manga editor there. But 
considering that Evangelion is such a cash cow for Viz, and that they don't 
want an uproar like what DC Comics/CMX is getting from Tenjo Tenge, I doubt 
that Viz will do anything to Evangelion.
