Well, AFAIK our resident cool guy is a professional translator BTW.

We could always come up with a collection of funds to pay his service at
least for the first volume, and see if the material is worth the translation
effort in the first place.

Two reason to back up this option:

1) If I should hire ANYONE for ANY professional translation involving ANY
Eva-related material, my translator of choice would indeed by Mason, I
swear. That's not just for he's a cool dude, but for he's a top notch
Japanese-English translator and on top of that he know the Eva-specific
vocaboulary better than anyone else.+

2) He's indeed a cool dude.
