[EVA] No manga stage this month

However, there will be a new stage next month.

This month's Ace-A has an Eva cover, and also the
original stage #1 again from ten years ago. I have no
idea why they published only that stage again except as
filler and unnecessary waste of paper and ink. There
is also a fold-out box that holds all 10 Eva manga
issues (Vol.10 was also released today), which also
strikes me as funny because: *We know that the series
will comprise more than 10 volumes, so what is the use
of a storage box that only holds 10 volumes!?* I mean,
seriously, Gainax/Ace-A people, could we try using a
bit more of that gray matter between your ears? -_-

As for other information, Gainax must need more money,
because there is a slew of new products that use
Sadamoto images (obviously in sync with Eva manga
vol.10 and 10 years of manga serialization in Ace-A)
such as art panel clocks, body pillows, desk mats and
so on. There is also a new black Nerv coffee mug, a
new PlayStation game "Evangelions", new figures and
model kits, T-shirts, basketball shoes (huh!?), a new
CD "Decade", computer and mobile phone stuff such as
Nerv keyboard and monitor covers, a Sachiel monitor
cleaner, stickers and seals, etc. And to top it all
off, a special "Decade - 10-year Memorial Box" is
scheduled for release around the end of April. The box
details will probably appear on the Gainax website.

Oh yeah, and the only think of real interest is an "Eva
Dictionary" also scheduled for release in April. This
dictionary purports to explain various dialog and
details, terminology, character and mecha details, an
Eva world timeline, the origins of the various names,
the secret meanings of the subtitles (i.e. episode
titles, etc.), and varous other stuff. Who wants to
bet that they intentionally keep some topics vague, and
that there is little or no new information? *sigh*

"M"(ilking it for all it is worth)
