[EVA] No manga stage this month

"Ten years ago" must be the key phrase here. I'm not surprised, seeing how
ugly the Eva franchise is being treated. I went and checked the Eva at Work
subsite again, browsing through I got to an interview with the EAW staffers
held by a Misato cosplayer (notable costume, but it must be a pain to wear
so much vinyl) and it was a pretty awkward piece about the plush, the
Lilith-dish and so on that didn't even have any comical quality to it.

Indeed. Uh, I just got a disturbing image of the whole series re-released as

Well, the rest of the merchandise isn't unexpected - save for the Sachiel
monitor cleaner (?!), and the box was the first thing most of us thought
about when the Renewal was released: why not wait until the 10th
anniversary? Once again, because they've always sucked at keeping the boat
afloat.
