We've heard every variation of how they interact. Is it

A) They are alternate universes, and only share some superficial 
resemblances? (My personal take)
B) They are different takes on the same events?
C) The TV Ending is just in Shinji's head while he's out of it in the Nerv 
Parking Lot?
D) The TV Ending is the what if Gendo succeeded at Instrumentality (My other 
personal take)
E) The Movie Ending is just Gainax's way to screw the fans out of money, and 
thus doesn't count. (A popular theory with no basis in fact whatsoever.)
F) None of those are the real endings, but the Manga one will really be the 
one to count.

Add yours to the list. Hell, we all should add ours to the list. Let's 
discuss that most hotly debated aspect of EVA again, for a new generation. 
The Ending.
