At the Gainax Live! in Nagoya event in January 2001, Sadamoto  
complained during the talk panel that his drawing style had not  
"evolved", so I asked him specifically about that image at the dinner  
later that night.  He said that he had of course drawn it as a joke,  
but that it was close to the truth.
