I think that it could go either way. The renewed interest in Evangelion that 
these films will create might be what the film project needs to get going. 
Or it could overly saturate the market and ruin any chance of the film 
getting off the ground.

In other news, part of me really wishes that Ikuhara could direct Evangelion 
instead. He's a much better director and friends with Anno! Anyone else have 
alternate choices for Evangelion staff they'd like to spill?
