[EVA] Soul Transferal Theory

It's been quite a while since I've posted to this ML.
In fact, I think that last time I posted was in 1999...under a name I
don't even recall..
Good to see it's still around.
I expect it will start booming again after the Rebuild.

Regardless, I gave Eva a viewing again.
Most of the information about the show that I had researched came back
to me relatively quickly, but I couldn't recall if it was ever
explained (or even theorized) HOW the souls are implanted into the
Evas. I recall something such as "Soul Transferal Theory" being
discussed on this ML years ago, but I can't recall it's content.

Anyone willing to discuss/refresh me on the matter?
