True, but manga Misato (like all the other characters) is different.
In the TV series she admonishes Shinji hard, but uses no physical force.
OTOH the EoE Misato is harder although still caring.  Perhaps Rebuild will 
make Misato more backwardly consistent with EoE Misato.
It will be interesting to see also how much of manga Misato has been worked 
into the movies.
