I think after losing Kaji we see one more "family" breakfast where Misato 
has a beer, but no more drinking after that.  She never had a hangover or 
was sloppy anytime on duty IIRC.

Misato harsher in EoE was understandable for the circumstances, as Shinji's 
funk was extreme & Misato was in despair about what to do with him.  I 
really really hope Rebuild's Shinji is not more backwardly consistent from 
*his* EoE state of mind.  That scene in the trailer, of Misato dragging him 
from a classroom could well be from an alternate part of Rebuild replacing 
TV eps 2-3. ^_^;
