I think it's pretty stupid too, considering how the only "original" thing
Sadamoto seems to have done so far is change the personalites of the
characters for the worse as opposed to better. *roll*  Case in point: fake
manga Shinji I have no problem with his supposed "pathetic" personality in
the anime; it's his smart-ass manga version I can't stand! I mean, he
auctally tries to punch Gendou? WTF? -_-, fake manga Asuka Teehee! <3 I'm an
extreme bitch and apparently have no feelings whatsoever for Shinji (in this
version)!, fake manga Rei Sure, have her speak before spoken to, it's not
creepy at all! O_o, Evil Manga Kaworu Unlike my wonderful anime counterpart,
I could care less about Humanity and just don't want to get in trouble with
the big bad Old Men OH NOES! -_-, etc

And of course, now that Sadamoto acutally does have some work to do, eg
Rebuild, the ending of the manga will be delayed even more! *sigh* The
anime's ending on with Shinji on the beach and noticing Asuka finally
returned would make no sense with what we have so far, espeically due to the
Rei/Shinji pairing as opposed to the Asuka/Shinji pairing of the anime. I
say we're gonna get Last B--the served arm ending--or some romantic cuteness
(Never mind the fact Rei's a clone of Yui and has the soul of Lilith!
*laughs*) with Shinji and Rei. ...As they happily dance upon Asuka's corpse
after Shinji acutally goes through with strangling her to death, of course.
