Hold the phone, I never said the manga is fake nor that one version is
supeior to the other (for one thing, the manga artwork is impressive), I'm
saying Sadamoto's characterizations of Shinji and the others suck! Yes, he
can do whatever he wants with them since he did the character designs; it'd
just be nice if he'd at least have their personalities SOMEWHAT similar to
the anime. *sigh*
