I agree the final scene is ambiguous (and just to nitpick, One More Final is
the English title of episode 26', NOT the final scene's name.), however,
have you taken any Japanese? BOTH warui (bad; wrong) and ii (good; fine) are
used in the context of either the weather or describing something in a
moral/social context as any Japanese teacher who knows their stuff will tell
you. And I do agree that it can be translated as I feel
sick/disgusting/terrible, etc, I just want to point out what it means.

Could you please rephrase that? Are you saying that the reason Asuka says
that is because of Shinji trying to strangle her?
