True, and obviously the ending is going to be different. I really doubt
we're going to get Shinji and Asuka on the beach at the end. It's probably
going to be Last B's served arm ending or something with Rei and Shinji.
*shrug*
But because this Shinji is so different from his anime counterpart, it would
be interesting to see if he doesn't act as "weak" as anime Shinji does, ie:
acutally trying to get to that MP Eva Series battle before it's too late. I
personally prefer anime Shinji 100 times over manga Shinji (I don't really
like the manga because I feel Sadamoto changed the characters' personalities
too much), but am intrigued to see how things'll turn out.
