Like I stated, Warui/ii is supposedly only used in a specific context, but
whatever. It is possible that even though Minoura-sensei was from Japan, she
didn't know what she was talking about in terms of that. *shrugs* (Though I
could have sworn my stepbrother who took seven years of Japanese stated the

I mean, when it comes to context/literal meaning, whose word do you go by?

Although some people might see certain things in that scene as being
ambiguous (whether or not Shinji was alone for awhile (He was), if Asuka
only JUST returned (that's the impression I was personally under, but that
wasn't supposed to be the case for Last A...T_T ie, they were both
supposedly  there for awhile), it seems pretty clear (although it took some
analyzing and group discussion at the Eva Monkey forums) to see why Asuka
felt sick: their surroundings (Miss Perfect and the bastards that killed
her, what fun! /sarcasm), having recently been LCL and Shinji acting
pathetic by sobbing like a "girly-man".
