Come now, it's not JUST for money. It's for a tremendously great pile  
of money. Although, another part of me is curious as to whether a  
revival of Evangelion can make anything near as much as the original,  
because its original success was part of an un-looked-for phenomenon,  
a (I hate to use the term) zeitgeist. Of course, it happened with  
STAR WARS, which had a much longer gap between the original and  
revival, so it's certainly possible.
