[EVA] Eva manga vol.11 - into "Air"

My book came today & I've had a scan through. WOW!

The 1st plate with Misato is "things to come", obviously next volume,
which if Sadamoto follows EoE strictly will be her last :(  :( :(
What struck me about the picture was that she looked saddened &
sickened by having to kill, unlike in "Air" where she was the
ferocious warrior.
Misato's scenes with Pen Pen were also touching, as her looking in on
the sleeping Shinji.  I'm glad Sadamoto is keeping his
characterisation consistent as he goes into EoE story.

The Asuka hospitalscene art was fantastic & totally startling.  Now
this is the EoE Asuka already, more than TV Asuka, but IMO Sadamoto's
Miss Sohru has always been that. :)

Kaworu's swansong was done well IMO.  No squishing shown.  Shinji's
mental image of it reminded me of his EoE strangling Asuka.  Is this
going to happen again? Is it an uncontrollable impulse he gets when
betrayal & irritation push him over the edge?  Shinji in the manga is
more violent when lashing out.

All together the stages, including the final couple of short ones,
make a good read as one work, with another classic cliffhanger ending.
I've got to the stage where anything different is welcome, having seen
EoE so many times - reading it as well needs something new.
