No. I think its the guy's blood, not hers. For a start his arm is
there. Also Misato is not bleeding & her posture is not that of a
badly wounded person. She's not clutching her side either.

Was an anime or live action that ended with the 2 antagonists each
grasping the other's throat? Whichever, I can see that as Sadamoto's
ending, Shinji & Asuka with an equal stranglehold on each other>The
End.
 Will the last Rebuild movie have a different ending? Will the manga
ending foreshadow it (or reflect it)?
