You know, now that you mention it, I could see that in the context of the
Manga. ^^; Hmmmm.

Personally, I think the final Rebuild movie will be a "happy ending" (ala
episode 26: "Congratulations for rejecting Instrumentality!"), though I'm
one who sees EoE--especially the final scene--as being a sign of hope in
spite of depression. ^_^ Guess we'll just have to wait and see what Anno has
up his sleeve this time!
