Alright, one-shot comments aside: Although it is a tradition in many circles 
to bitch and moan about how the manga is different, I figured I would go for 
a change of pace...  Why does Sadamoto opt to recycle and scavenge so much? 
He contributed a lot to the show, sure, but he seems to be overutilizing the 
completed anime as a source when he could be doing much more completely 
original stuff with his manga version. And, even though the manga is a "very 
different beast", it still follows the same plot framework as the anime --  
except for those events that he's skipped over, and some that he's added, 
we've basically been going through the Sadamoto version of the anime 
chronology. Why did he chose to conform so closely to it when he had so many 
possibilities open to him?
