Heh. I remember this discussion some years ago about the soul of Eva-00.
Great arguments such as "we've discussed this long before and reached this
conclusion, ergo, you're wrong" and "the scripts came after the series,
they're not valid" were wielded. But as for tangents, oh man there was one,
when the absence of evidence became the evidence of absence: We don't have
concrete evidence on soul copying/splitting, that's why it's a fact that
it's not possible. And when that supposition became fact, then it was all
over. No evidence of Rei in Eva-00 was valid against that tangent. Nor
scripts, nor images, nothing.

EMF has a lot of tangents and suppositions. But because it lacks that strong
consensus on ideas, you can discuss them all withouth being flamed or
getting the "pet theories" pejorative.

While I find this ML as a great place for some sort of info which doesn't
show up anywhere else, I also find it to be completely irrelevant as for the
analysis of Eva's universe mechanics.
