[EVA] With all the talk of the new movies

Quiet living is unnecessary when you consider that right now, with some
patience and persistance, I can go and download nearly any Evangelion
episode, movie, cd, manga stage, art book, or doujinshi on a handful of
sites. I don't condone piracy, and I'm not ashamed to say that I've had a
hand in the removal of Evangelion materials from a bunch of sites over the
years. But I can't believe anyone would care about something so
infintesimally small and pointless as an advertisment. They WANT people
to watch these things. And if someone uploads it to YouTube, you know
what that means for Gainax and the various distributors? Free advertising,
which leads to further buisness that supports the industry, which in turn
provides its fans with more of the anime crack they want and need.
Everyone wins. Teh end.
