You're right. I am fully aware that tone is almost impossible to understand
through text alone. It was I who misinterpreted your position.
Persistence was too strong a word; the initial comment was I think sort of
directed toward me, but more "open air" to the ML in general to (like you
said) just 'get it out there.' The second comment was what sparked my
response, but though I was being defensively snide, I wasn't trying to be a
dick. It had been one helluva Monday for me, and looking at this all today
I'm just shaking my head. Again no excuse, just an apology.
