[EVA] Final release of original Eva?

I have a DVD which came in the Japanese edition of NEWTYPE as a promo
for Renewal, featuring the first half of episode 1 done as a
split-screen comparison to show off the new remastering, and with the
new remastered open.  The disk isn't exclusively Eva material,
however, and has a selection of other properties' promos on it as
well.  But Eva is the main content.

I don't believe this is the "Test Type" disk you mentioned, although
some of the material might be similar.  If anyone needs more info on
it or images of it & the Newtype issue for their archives, I'd be
happy to provide them.

@@The Test Type 01 was a commercial release with the excellent
Sadamoto pic of Shinji holding Rei from episode 1 in his arms. Still
easy to find.

It had episode 1 Renewal with 5.1 & 2.0 audio on it, also an extended
opening with the full length opening song, showing DC & Renewal
scenes.  The nding song was the FMTTM full length as well - sung by
Misato, Rei & Asuka.

TT01 also had a CG screensaver-type animation of naked Rei floating on
her back under a full moon (photo used) while the song played again.
