I'm of the same opinion, it's not just an issue of ignoring community
policy, but also potentially putting the community at risk of suspension. 
In extreme cases, all it takes is linking to things to get canned.  I
don't know what the host of this list is like, but I wouldn't risk it
personally

But on the other hand Brendan, while I'm of the similar opinion that
people shouldn't beat around the bush when stating their opinions, I'm
sure there's a gentler way of putting it.
