[EVA] The soul in Eva 00 belonged to Rei 1, the first Rei clone

Been watching 1.01, the Funimation DVD (Gendou says "bastards" >< ). 
Shinji's first dream-trip to the railway carriage, after the battle with 
1.01's 4th angel, ends with a vision of Rei I. I'm not sure if that was the 
case in Eva TV.

But if the train carriage has shades of people's memories, or psychic prints 
who have been/ are in an Eva, Rei I is there. Which Rei are the dummy plugs 
linked to?
