[EVA] Moura interviews with Gainax people & others

I intend to analyze and refute all of the wrong ones; sorry if that was confusing; I don't inherently think all previous analysis is wrong.

But instead of this perpetual attitude of "every theory is correct", we're going to go through, and put each essay into one of two categories:  "good" analysis, and "this is just some guy spouting off opinions with no basis in fact"

Arguably, we should simply let the "bad" essays die off and be forgotten, but there's always the chance they'll be brought up again.

I.e. Napier's insultingly bad article will get a full refutation

****similar to how in Lord of the Rings, no one seriously thinks "pipe-weed" is pot anymore, but we've still got essays devoted to "if you hear that crazy theory that pipe-weed is pot, this is why it is wrong"

****"Good" analysis doesn't have to be stuff I personally agree with; but stuff based on "logical discourse and evidence"

we need to move back to "evidence"; a lot of this stuff was just opinion on "what Eva meant to me personally" (which was often "Rei is kind and likes me!")

Off the top of my head, I'll say this:

I think most of the early essays had no idea what they were talking about
Napier and the rest from Mechademia and Robot Dreams didn't know what they were talking about
Taliesin Jaffe, Sean McCoy, etc. definitely didn't know what they were talking about
Mari Kotani's original essay has some points of merit, but other points which believe the religious stuff meant something, most of her work was before End of Eva came out, and I'd strongly urge her to make an update

Most of these were just armchair enthusiasts who didnt' do a lot of research (again, I'm disgusted with what Napier did)

As for your comment on Mr. Horn here Aaron; yes, as opposed to the folk cited above, I pretty much think Mr. Horn is the only writer on Eva who has any idea what he's talking about.  Even Mr. Horn has admitted that he doesn't know everything, but then neither do I.  we need more of that kind of analysis based on "evidence".

I asked you a question first.  I see no reason to answer your questions if
you don't intend to answer anyone else's.

Do you really intend to thoroughly discredit and refute all fan essays
including your own?

Answer the question.  It's a very simple Yes/No question.  Feel free to
elaborate beyond the Yes/No.
