....revenge on fate, destiny, whatever.
In no way does Gendo saying "I'm going to get revenge on God" serve as a
justification for trying to correlate different parts of the Kabbalah tree chart
with different characters, or any of the other shenannigans that try to get
their foot in the door that way.

The parts I thought were interesting were Gendo pulling a Matrix with his AT
Field, being the one to save Shinji from the JSSDF, and telling him that he
doesn't love him, and has been jealous of him since the day he was born.
Also, I liked how he said he was trying to "get revenge against god". And
people say the religion in Evangelion means nothing...
I'm looking forward to the continuation.
