I finally got around to adding an index to the old messages archived at
the list's web site, located at http://evangelion.ml.org/ml. 

Also, to anyone archiving the list: I just added a header showing the
place where that message falls in the archive. It's Mailing-List-Archive:,
as in:

Mailing-List-Archive: archive/1/03
(for the 103 message since I switched servers.)
