Repetition is dumb (aside from the fact "dumb" is used incorrectly
in this case)? So is the evening news dumb because they talk about the same
thing over and over?
Also your "case" is shakey if you tar Evangelion with the same brush
that it must be "dumb" *only* because everyone repeats each other. Are
there any other reasons for why you would consider it "dumb" or not?
Support your argument.
People in emotionally charged situations have a tendency to state
the obvious, as is everyone else around them. Go to a football game and
listen to how many people mimic a touchdown after a touchdown has been made.
