[EVA] A comment on esp. 17 & 18

I really like the way that the story of Eva 03 built up over the course of
these two esps.  The last few minutes of esp. 18 when Eva 01 trashed the
broken Eva 03 was really breath taking.  Blood spilled, and spilled, and
spilled...  But they should had done a better job on those 'blood'.  To me,
the blood on the building seem more like paints; and those in the river were
not floating at all. (Those dripping from the traffic lights were very
realistic) If they used more cels for that sequence, the overall effect might
had been much better.  But then again, the show had a tight budget.

So here is my question: does anyone know how many cels are used in an average
episode of 'Eva'?
