Look also for lots of biblical references in Nadia, like in Evangelion. Not
so deep and philosophical but in the end Nadia has some stunning...

Yes, many elements are repeatedly used in all Gainax works. Someday any of
us should make a good point on this. Maybe Mr. Shouichi "The Sage" Takeuchi
can guide us a little... :-)
