>=> Even if Eva was shown in Singapore ( which is impossible until 5-10 years
>later) it would most probably be shown after midnight where most people
>would be asleep. The trend of animations aired on TV here is towards those
>that appeal to young kids eg. Dragonball which are shown on Saturday
>afternoons. Action flicks are shown at 1p.m on Mon & Tue nights. Note the
>difference? And for Evangelion, I'll not be surprised if the censorship
>board "mutilates" the series. The board is very famous for its *masterful*
>cuts of scenes with the faintest suggestion of sex.
They won't even buy EVA...it would cost MONEY! (We can lend Indonesia $5
Billion and we can't show good quality animation? Shame! ^_^)
They will cut anything. Period. ^_^
>=> Seen it, yes. Becoming a fanatic, hardly, save for those on this ml. But
>I believe the potential for the market is present, with all the EVA
>merchandise. For instance, I went to a shop selling EVA tapes asking for
>Genesis 0:0 but I was told it was out of stock.
There are a substantial amount of EVA fanatics in Singapore (maybe 100?
200?) but how does one find them? ^_^

I am myself. This object is I. The figure that forms me."
When someone stands in the light but does not give it out, a shadow is created.
The ways of nature and of life are strange and deep. They are not to be
understood. In the midst of angers and of wars love's secret work goes on,
and binds us all by blood, and this, whether love is denied or bestowed. -
