mean changing Usagi to a valley girl is inevitable just because of an 
actor's inabiltiy to raise her voice?  I don't think that's that's a 
convincing reason.  To be honest, I hate valley girls (No one happens to 
like Alicia Silverstone, right).

I won't say the original cast is good just because it is in Japanese.  But 
Japanese seiyuu, in fact, are more talented and more trained before they 
even enter the field of voice-acting.  

## I can agree on this. This is so more or less because the dubbing
## industry in Japan is so big, with so many anime to dub, and with so
## big a fandom.. You rarely see a fandom of voice actress anywhere else.

Most of the American dub is indeed torturing, I wonder if the US 
dubbing-company producers just go out and  pick up about anyone from the 
street?  

## I don't know. But I have to say America usually treats cartoon as
## kid-stuff. I always find the tone used in dubbing their own cartoons
## too exaggerated. I must say that I never like it. But then the 
## Americans seem to love it, so what does that mean?
