[EVA] Questions on Eva Tapes, CDs and DVDs

Hi all,

I purchased the 13 Eva TV series tapes.  Recently I heard from somebody
that the LD
and DVD versions are both different from the tape version.

I would like to know if the Tape, LD and DVD versions of the series are
different from
each other in terms of story and also other aspects.

I would also like to know if there is any LD or DVD versions which have
Chinese
Subtitles / Voice which are for sale in Hong Kong or Taiwan (not pirated
ones), or
is there any company planning to do so?  How about the two movies?

Hope somebody can help me on all these doubts.
