[EVA] RCB review [EOE spoilers]

Greetings, all.

	At the request of the gracious Mr. Yip, I present my personal
look at the Red Cross Book.

COVER:  Interesting. Very simple, the cross with "THE END OF EVANGELION"
written in an... interesting font. For some reason, the font suggests
desperation to me...

INSIDE COVER:  Scenes from the live-action portions of the film 
(I think... Patrick?)

Pg. 4:	Blood-red picture of Misato, Asuka, Maia, Rei, and others, set up 
like the movie poster (floating in sea of blood? LCL?) Disturbing, but 
cool. (kinda like the whole show... ^_^)

	The next few pages show a collage of various scenes from the
movie, including an almost blow-by-blow of Asuka's fight with
the mass-production EVAs. The last page of movie sills features Misato 
and Shinji's farwell and kiss. Very nice retrospective. Gives a sense 
of the film's major events without words. Some powerful images. (Time to 
hit the scanner...)

The next section is an interview with Kazuya Tsurumaki.

The next portion brings us to the glossary, where many EVA topics
and concepts are defined and discussed, including LCL, N2 mines,
Lilith, and so forth. (Very helpful, especially once Mr. Yip finishes 
translating it! ^_^)

The next part I'm not sure of, since I can't read much Japanese.
I think it contains profiles of the seiyuu.  

Production Notes fill most of the last part, with a staff list and other
info as well. (Very cool "negative burn" images of Shinji and Misato!)

The very end displays a variety of EVA related merchandise (puzzles, 
models, posters/scrolls, PVC figs, etc.) (Some great stuff, like the 
entry plug pen, a Pen-Pen mug, and NERV tie, NERV frisbee, and NERV 
towel, is featured.)

Overall, a nice purchase for those who really love EVA and
are making an attempt to get as much EVA stuff as possible (like me! ^_^).
