[EVA] about LD release

Beats me, they had suspended the release of Vol. 2 for more than a year
already.
In fact they had suspended the release of all of their LD series.  Recently
they had conducted a survey of which format the buyers perfer.  Pitting the
LD version against the future possible release of a DVD version.  So if you
are a LD head, write to them!

I bought my LD player so that I could watch 'Evangelion' on that format.
 Personally I think the show is so important that it justifies the cost of
the LD player.  But as the months went by, while those who watch 'Eva' in
video format are already onto epilsode 18, we LD heads are still stuck with
'The Hedgehog's Dilemma'(episode 4).

I was especially pissed with ADV because they never answer my calls.  If you
are tired of checking their web site everyday, you could do like me; buy the
imported 'Eva' LDs.  They cost about twice as much, but they are in CAV
format, plus there are many beautiful illustrations inside and outside of the
LD jacket.  Download the translated eva script somewhere, and your sleepless
nights will be over! :-)
