Dreamreaver, where did you get your information? Your answer is wrong!

There were 26 TV episodes, and 2 movies: "Death and Rebirth"
and "End of Evangelion". There were never any OAVs released, Gainax decided
to release them as movies!

Oh, and there's a genesis 0:0 tape if you're counting, but its just a
benind the scenes look at the making of EVA.
