I have the first Evangelion soundtrack (cover: "Shinji and Eva 01"), 
"Evangelion" and a single that has the two movie songs, both by Takahashi 
Yoko.  

## By the way, be informed that TAKAHASHI YOKO will release a new album
## this month. Watch out for that!!

     
"Evangelion" has 2 vocals and almost all of the musics from the TV series, 
Of course you have the original version of the OP "Zankoku na Tenshi no 
These", which I've been listening for a whole week when I first bought it 
(just can't get it out of my head ^_^) 

## I listen for a whole week the song "Shiawase wa Tsumi no nioi" 
## (Happiness bears the smell of Guilt) from Vol.3 ^_^ 

The other one is called "Ikari Shinji", it is the track that's played when 

## Now I have an interesting idea: Has anybody ever compare the 
## "related" pieces of music? For example, For "Shinji", we have
## "Asuka, rainichi" and "Rei I" "Rei II" "Rei III"

Another track is called "Hedgehog's Dilemma", it's the soft paino tune 

## By the way, what is "Hedgehog's Dilemma"? Psychological term?

track "EVA-00" is the scary music that is played when EVA 00 goes berserk, 
that's really cool and would give ya goosebumps. A similar track called 

## Related pieces: "EVA-00" "EVA-01" "EVA-02". Anybody wants to 
## compare the music with the distinct character of each EVA?

is usually played during a fight.  "Marking time, waiting for death" is a 
very creepy track too, it is first played in eps 3 when Shinji is ordered 

## Actually there are many more creey tracks in soundtrack vol.3
## And that's why I like this volume most ^_^

     
The movie single has the 2 songs from the movie "The end of Evangelion". 
The first one is called "tamashii no rufuran" and the second one I forgot 

## Actually these songs do not come from the movie "The end of 
## Evangelion". They come from the movie "Death and Rebirth"
## "The end of Evangelion" has 2 other songs: "THANTOS -- IF I CAN'T
## BE YOURS" "KOMM, SUESSER TOD"...

the title.  They are both really great but sad songs.  I can't really

## If you think that "tamashii no rufuran" is sad, listen to the
## two songs I mentioned above. They are filled with death-wish and
## hopelessness.
